Build-a-Bear gift cards are sold at participating retailers, including Gift Card Granny! You can also purchase them at buildabear.com and in Build-a-Bear locations. Build-a-Bear gift cards can be redeemed at any Build-a-Bear Workshop or friends 2B made locations and websites.

Do Build-a-Bear gift cards expire?

Build-a-Bear gift cards do expire-- use them within two years (24 months)! Visit buildabear.com and click on the “Locations” tab to find the Build-A-Bear Workshop nearest you.

How do I check the balance of my Build-a-Bear gift card?

Please have your gift card ready when you check the balance.

How much can I get a gift card for?

Build-a-Bear offers both traditional and e-giftcards. Purchase in-store to avoid any shipping cost, or purchase online. Traditional plastic gift cards are available in increments from $25 up to $100. E-giftcards may take as little as 2 hours to deposit into the receiver's inbox, and are available in preset amounts of $25-$100 or a choice amount between $10-$75.

How can I redeem a Build-a-Bear gift card?

You can redeem your Build-a-Bear gift card online or in-store. Please have your gift card ready. To redeem online, select “gift card” as payment option. You will need numbers and possibly the pin number from the back of the card. In store, you or the cashier will swipe your gift card as payment. In all cases, if the total cost of the purchase is more than the amount of the gift card, you will be expected to cover the difference with another form of payment.

Can I use my Build-a-Bear gift card online?

Build-a-Bear gift cards can be used online and in store to pay for all or a portion of purchases. Build-a-Bear gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.

How long is my Build-a-Bear gift card good for?

Your Build-a-Bear gift card is good for two years (24 months from the time of purchase). After two years your gift card will expire.

If I lose my gift card, can I get it replaced?

You are responsible for your gift card. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Please care for your card as if it were cash.

Redeemable for merchandise at participating Build-A-Bear Workshop® locations in the United States, Canada, or online at www.buildabear.com.

Scan the barcode off of the mobile device and/or Hand Key the Gift Card number into the POS.
